06/21/2019 Court Date Day! WE'RE APPROVED!
04/23/2019 Article 5 Letter issued to N's country
04/16/2019 Preliminary Visa Interview with the US Embassy
03/09/2019- "Meetcha Trip!"

03/04/2019 We submit the I-800 application to USCIS for approval to immigrate N to the US
02/13/2019 We receive the official referral from N's country
12/15/2018 We submit our updated Dossier to N's country.
11/27/2018 USCIS grants approval of change and extension!
10/24/2018 We file a Change of Country and Extension of Approval with USCIS
10/22/2018 Home Study Update (new child/new country) is completed.
08/27/2018 We are approved to adopt a little boy!
08/13/2018 Submit Letter of Intent to adopt N.
07/18/2018 We accidentally come across "N's" file and begin to consider him for adoption.
06/20/2018 The Journey to "Jenny" ends.
06/18/2018 The Ministry has approved our Article 5 letter for Jenny to be adopted by an American family. This same day, a potential foster family in Jenny's country steps forward.

06/14/2018 We meet with Congressman Chris Smith's local office to review the details of our adoption case and see if there is anything that can be done to strengthen the relationship between Jenny's country and the US so that inter-country adoptions can continue.
12/11/2017 Immigrant Visa is paid for by our representative in Jenny's country and our Article 5 letter is being translated for submission to the central authority in her country!
12/04/2017 Complete the DS-260 form to apply for Jenny's Visa.
12/01/2017 Receive provisional approval from USCIS on our I-800.
10/27/2017 Submit I-800 to USCIS for Approval
10/20/2017 We receive the official referral to adopt Jenny and begin consults with CHOP.
09/12/2017 Submit COMPLETE DOSSIER to our Adoption agency.
12/27/2016 Donated to Jenny’s page on Reece’s Rainbow.
12/11/2017 Immigrant Visa is paid for by our representative in Jenny's country and our Article 5 letter is being translated for submission to the central authority in her country!
12/04/2017 Complete the DS-260 form to apply for Jenny's Visa.
12/01/2017 Receive provisional approval from USCIS on our I-800.
10/27/2017 Submit I-800 to USCIS for Approval
09/11/2017 We pick up all of our authenticated documents from the State of NJ! (whew!)
09/08/2017 We drop off all of our notarized documents to the State of NJ for authentication!
08/31/2017 USCIS Approval letter came.
08/04/2017 USCIS Fingerprinting appointment.
07/12/2017 We finally get confirmation that USCIS has accepted our I-800-A.
06/26/2017 Our I-800-A is delivered to US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
06/20/2017 Home Study is Finalized & Notarized!
05/10/2017 We're Facebook Official!
05/02/2017 Apply to Reece’s Rainbow for Family Sponsorship Program Grant
04/28/2017 Jenny receives national approval for International adoption status!
04/27/2017 Our 5th Anniversary. We Get Approval from Adoption Center!
04/21/2017 Third and final Home Study Meeting
03/24/2017 Second Home Study Meeting
03/21/2017 Jenny obtains approval for International Adoption status in her region!
02/20/2017 First Home Study Meeting
01/20/2017 Preliminary Home Study paperwork Meeting
01/18/2017 Jenny's country puts a hold on ALL international adoptions and waiting children must obtain new international adoption status.
01/11/2017 Applied to Home Study Agency
01/09/2017 Submitted our Letter of Intent to Adoption Center in Jenny’s Country
01/06/2017 Approved by Placing Agency!
01/03/2017 Applied to Placing Agency.
12/28/2016 Contacted Reece’s Rainbow for more info on Jenny. Learned where she was from.
12/27/2016 Donated to Jenny’s page on Reece’s Rainbow.
